What do you read?

Tell me what you read and I tell you who you are!

I can’t imagine a better start to a new day than sitting outdoors in the sunshine with a nice cup of coffee and reading a good book. I love to feel inspired, as my mind opens to new possibilities and exciting adventures. Do you know this feeling that awakens a yearning in your soul?

What do you read?

My preferences are always true stories and travel adventures. The two books that inspired me profoundly, when I was 17, were Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: An Inquiry into Values and Tracks, which chronicles Robyn Davidson’s 1,700-mile trek from Alice Springs to the Indian Ocean on foot with four camels and a dog as her companions.

23 years later I embarked on my own epic journey and wrote Girls Don’t Ride Motorbikes – A Spiritual Adventure Into Life’s Labyrinth chronicling my modern day pilgrimage in which I embark on a 7,430-mile solo motorcycle adventure across the US to walk labyrinths.

What do you read? It might point you to life’s coming attractions.
