The Importance of Day Dreaming and Purposeful Imagination
Here is a little fun fact and the reason why it is so important to dream big.
Our dreams show us life’s coming attractions. Daydreaming and imagining where life will take you is a good investment in your future.
Girls Don’t Ride Motorbikes is not the first book I wrote. In the mid-nineties while living in Tel Aviv, I started writing a fictional story about a woman who horseback rides from Germany to Israel following the Crusader pathways. The book called Dreamland Traveler is a spiritual adventure. The protagonist, a seer, experiences insightful meditative journeys, visions and shares historical facts from a different viewpoint.
When I returned to Germany in 1997 I completed the manuscript and sent it to more than 20 publishers. It never went into print and then I moved to the US.
16 years later, I am a published author, second place winner for autobiography by the Authors’ Zone Contest and receive countless letters and positive feedback from my readers. Presently I enjoy working on my next book.
In 2016 I had the great honor to receive the Immigrant Entrepreneur Award from Global Pittsburgh in recognition of my achievements and enriching the Pittsburgh region with my talent and tenacity since my arrival in 1998.
This example shows the importance to never stop dreaming and to persevere. Follow your dreams and listen to the voice of your heart, things will unfold that are more remarkable than anything you could ever have imagined.
